A Beautiful Escape

I’m considering a career with Rustan’s, if only to avail of their employees’ sale that features their brands from Zara to Marks and Spencer.

Their sale this time had products from Lush, a brand that sells fresh handmade natural cosmetics. I got two products because my friend has a relative working in Rustan’s.

Imperialis and Eau Roma Water.

Imperialis is called a “magestic moisturizer,” I got it for its name alone! Haha! But seriously, since my face is of the oily type, most moisturizers just add to the oiliness. Imperialis is perfect because it suits all skin types, from oily to dry.

Eau Roma Water is a toner. I honestly thought I was getting a water spray for the face, much like the one I had before from Evian and Bench. I sprayed some on my face and it felt good, like stepping onto a cool shower after a hot day.

I’m starting to keep a vanity kit in my bag again, after going through college and forgetting all about being vain. I guess it comes with the realization that life doesn’t end after 6PM, with the unexpected dinners and parties that needs attendance (not that I have any at the moment, though). But still, it helps to be prepared. Nothing’s worse than being caught unprepared and unflattering for a night out!

RAINY DAYS AND SATURDAYS

I went to Podium with Kristianne today, in the hopes of finding a good bag, with an equally good price.

We left the office at around 2pm, and decided to eat at Cheesecake, Etc.

Creamy Pumpkin soup. I love pumpkin! It was a bit bland though, I had to ask for salt.

Beef Stroganoff. It was good, nothing special.

Cheesecake! Ang mahal niya for its size. :(

After eating, we went around the mall.

Cute Mel flats in Shoe Salon, the butterfly reminds me of my friend. Haha!

I liked this style for Toms, it’s so sweet and frilly.

Wild heels at People are People.

I had dessert (ok, another dessert) at Sebastian’s. They have the best Cookie dough ice cream.

I wasn’t able to buy anything in Podium. Hindi kasi siya sale para sakin, ang mahal! Although I saw some shoes that I really wanted, I had to hold out because I got shoe crazy the past few months.

On the way home, we decided to stop by SM Cubao, and hello, they were on sale as well! Kristianne and I got a bag each, they were on sale at 50% off!

I miss my friends, really. I enjoyed this day just laughing and catching up. Believe it or not, even if Kristianne and I are officemates, we barely get to talk! More bonding soon!

I love this pair of shorts I got from Collezione. It makes my legs look slimmer because of its cut. I got it on sale, after much prodding from the saleslady, she told me it used to be 1,599php, and now its only 400++php.

I was reluctant to get it, because I don’t know if it would fit me, and since I’m a lazy ass I didn’t want to fit it in the store. Luckily, it did fit me, and is now one of my go to shorts!

Also, I’ve been using the same bag for over three (?) days now. I’m too lazy to change it, and since this is my favorite and most treasured bag, I don’t really mind.
