A Beautiful Escape

I love antique shops!

I am a firm believer of the mantra, “if you look hard enough, you will find something of value,” and today it came true. Literally.

While having a rest at the Golf Club in Tagaytay Highlands, I walked around and stopped at a little shop called, BALI. It sold everything from antique pots and plates, to vintage jewelry.

My eyes gravitated to the pharaoh pendant necklace, which costs 350! I did a double take and asked for the price again, which was really 350! I immediately grabbed it and paid for it.

Since my friends were still there ogling at some vintage earrings, I squatted down and spotted a pair of sunglasses underneath a coffee table. It was a pair of Ray-bans. And it costs… only 200 pesos!

Today was my lucky day, even the owner said so. I will definitely go back to BALI and see if I can find any more interesting stuff.
