LA DOLCE VITA

Tagaytay Highlands recently held a special massage day for moms in honor of Mother’s Day.

Moms were treated to a relaxing back or foot massage, and while they wait, sumptuous treats were served for their enjoyment. Their families are also in on the fun, kids and dads got artistic and made Mother’s Day cards and popsicle stick picture frames.

ZALORA

I was recently invited to the Grand Launch of Zalora PH, the first of its kind shopping website truly made for the discerning filipino virtual shopper, in Skye Lounge at Bonifacio High Street.

I honestly never expected to be invited to such an event, so I made it a point that I go. I mean, this could be a one time big time thing!

It was my first time to go to Skye Lounge, and I had a little trouble finding the place. Luckily, W building (where Skye is) was easy to spot, mainly because of the huge W insignia.

I was a bit early for the 8PM launch, and I had time to pick a nice spot in Skye.

I was woozy after a bottle of wine! My alcohol tolerance is too low!

Food! I didn’t have dinner prior to the event, so I was too hungry! I was tempted to ask for rice! Hahaha!

Magsosorry ako sa ganda ng damit ni ate! Backless! Love it!

They projected our tweets onto the huge screen! There I am!

The place was jampacked with guests!

Of course, it’s not a grand launch without the internet’s hottest fashion bloggers gracing the event!

Here’s Laureen Uy!

Vern Enciso and Lissa Kahayon! It must have been 3 years since I last saw Lissa. I still remember her in the Summit Office during our internship there in college.

Skye Lounge is a place where you can chill with a glass of wine, or party with hard liquor! Check out their bar!

I super love this dress! It has that cape detail that I’ve always loved! It brings the outfit so much class and edge at the same time!

The three men behind Zalora! We know who to thank for bringing a whole new online shopping experience!

A mini fashion show to showcase some of Zalora’s brands.

Co-founder and Managing Director Paulo Campos urging us to party til the sun comes up!

I love that arm tattoo! I want one, but with a snake as the design!

This metallic Balenciaga caught my eye! Love!

A very chic Lady Dior is versatile enough for a party or a special dinner in an exclusive restaurant.

Here’s a very special lady who is a big contributor to my love for bags, Ms. Ingrid Chua - Go! Her blog, BAGHAGDIARIES, was the first blog I ever read, even before the others! I remember joining her contests and tweeting her. I cannot begin to explain how ecstatic I was when I saw her at the event! She even remembers me from Twitter! Ego boost ito!

Ugh gold Doc Martens! Super nice!

Sheer! It takes a certain panache to pull this off!

Givenchy!

Chanel! Love this bag! It’s so classic!

Thank you so much to Zalora for inviting me (through Nuffnang, thanks to you Nuffnang as well!) I had so much fun!

I can’t wait to try out the site and order something! For all you people, go try out Zalora PH and get to experience a whole new online shopping experience!

THE KING OF HIS OWN EMPIRE

My friend who works at Megaworld invited me to see Christian Bautista in concert the Venice Piazza at Mckinley Hill. I went with two of my officemates.

The event started with Samantha of Easy Rock hosting. She has an amazing voice! I’m a fan since I only listen to 96.3 Easy Rock, their songs are oh so good.

Christian Bautista is good looking. I can say that for sure, he also has this cool speaking voice, and when he talks I just look at him. Hahahaha!

He knows how to work the crowd, and he’s a bit cheeky, cracking jokes during his performances.

He also gets off the stage and works the crowd, and since I’m in the first row, he’s literally just 2 or 3 meters away from me.

It was a fun concert, Christian Bautista is brimming with talent and good looks. He’s funny too. We even got to take a souvenir photo with him. Hihi.

Thanks to Hector for the invite, and thanks to Megaworld for throwing the awesome concert! More please? :) Hahaha!

BELLE GRANDE SHOWROOM BLESSING

A few weeks ago, well, actually last September, I covered the Belle Grande Showroom Blessing.

The Belle Grande is a gaming resort complex, and is the latest and newest development by Belle Corporation, together with Leisure and Resorts World Corp.

The showroom is amazing. So sleek! I can’t wait for the actual Belle Grande!

Of course, what’s an event without food? Catered by Bravo. I love the pizza!

After the event, we took advantage of the amazing venue and took photos!

We got home a little late, because of the horrid traffic in EDSA. It was laughs all the way home, though.

I’m really enjoying this sideline of mine, taking photos for the company. I get to hear the familiar clicks of the camera again, I get to be excited at the end of the day to see all my photos and post process them for posting. Maybe I’ll become a full time photographer? Maybe… in the future.

Just came from the Tagaytay Highlands Nobhill Launch in Oakwood Premier. This is one of the few (unflattering) photos of me during the event. I’ll post the photos as soon as I finish post processing them.
I just heard that there’s a sale in Podium this weekend. Up to 70% off! I must go there, even if it means my resources will be depleted (again.)

So next Thursday I’m going to go to an event, and it will require that I look awesome. Ok, not awesome, but presentable, at the very least.
So I decided to try and fix what I’m going to wear this weekend, so there’s no pressure on Monday. I’m not sure if I should mix the floral shirt with the leopard bag though… but maybe it will work when I actually put it on.
Experimenting!

TAGAYTAY HIGHLANDS AT 17

I attended the ribbon cutting for the Tagaytay Highlands Photo Exhibit at their showroom in Podium.

The photos highlight the most significant moments in the 17 years of Tagaytay Highlands. From the photos, you’ll see why Tagaytay Highlands is considered to be the premiere luxury destination in Tagaytay.

And of course, the food! Super delicious, first time to eat a quiche!

Chicken Nuggets!

I have no idea what this is, but it looks good!

Overflowing Merlot.

I also had the opportunity to meet Jerry Tiu (aka Chris Tiu’s father) and Joselito Consunji, our Chief Operating Officer.

Looking forward to more events like this! Awesome.
