A Beautiful Escape

Simplicity should be treasured.

We are almost always astounded by the bright, the large, and the shiny that we tend to ignore the classics. When things get to be too much to handle, a simple design devoid of anything gaudy is a breath of fresh air.

This Intrecciato leather tote by Bottega Veneta can be revered to as a classic. The woven design makes it stand out, but not to the point that it screams, “Look at me!”

Think of it as a girl next door, someone who simply walks by, and yet you can’t help but take a second look.

I’m targeting to get a simple bag like this for my next piece. Something that’s simple and yet commands subtle attention.

I must say, Hyundai is coming up with the most radical re-designs of their car line-ups. Everything came from understated and well, boring, to futuristic designs.

Take the Hyundai Accent. The last model was supposed to be in my list of possible car purchases, especially since it runs on diesel! But the looks were so boring and it didn’t strike me when I saw it in the showroom so I had to cross it out.

But this new model, the Hyundai Accent 2011 is miles away from the old design! If you’re looking for a car that looks good and runs on diesel (meaning, more power, I think?) this is the perfect car!

I’ve been planning on doing this for some time now.All I need is to coordinate the time with some people and go go go!
