CHRISTMAS AT THE GRANDE

My first company christmas party happened last night at the Belle Grande Sales Pavilion in Pasay. The theme was Las Vegas, and the first thing that came to my mind was the opulence the theme brings.

The food was delicious!

I had steak, fish fillet in lemon butter sauce, paella, and vegetables.

There was an awarding ceremony for employees that have spent over 10 to 20 years in Belle, to which the president and the Vice chairman presented.

There was a lanai outside the pavilion, where the band is playing.

Newbies were asked to prepare a presentation for everyone. It took us two nights to prepare, but it came out great, somewhat! You can’t beat talent! Hahaha!

There was also a competition, where one of our own in Marketing won the first prize!

There was a photobooth! I love photobooths!

After all the formalities, the presentations, and the announcement of the winners of the major prizes (which I was one of the winners, yay!) oh and the announcement of the ehem ehem bonus, it’s time to parteh!

It was so much fun! I am not comfortable dancing but last night I thought, what the hell! Hahaha!

WAKING UP IN VEGAS

I’m busy trying to find looks fit for a Vegas themed Christmas Party. Unfortunately for me, the looks I came up with are for girls. Why is it so easy for them?! Why?!

Anyway, here are two looks I concocted:

I like this one because of the dress detail, so I just added a few bracelets on both arms. Her earrings (you can’t see it, though) are angel wings, to give it a bit of playfulness. And I am in love with those shoes!

Up next is this drapey dress that stands out on its own. I added the two color tights for a bit of that second-look factor. I had to forego the accessories to keep it simple.

I’m going to show these tomorrow to my friends, maybe they can get some inspiration from it. Now, I need to find what I’m going to wear. Too bad Looklet only caters to women. :(
