A Beautiful Escape

CANCELLED MOVIE DATES AND ITALIAN CUISINES

I was supposed to go watch a movie with Meng today, but when we got to Trinoma, the lines for the movies were so long! We didn’t even bother to try and wait it out, I figured it could be hours before we get to the ticket booth and by that time the movie might already be sold out on our preferred time.

We decided to ditch the movie plans and just eat.

We went to Italianni’s because I have a discount card there, plus a coupon for a free appetizer! Yay! We got this Spinach and Artichoke Formaggio for free!

What we ordered.

A delicious pork belly dish on top of pesto rice and corn relish - Pork ala Sarde.

Chicken breast with italian Spaghetti.

I love the style of Italianni’s.

We circled the entire mall, but I didn’t find anything worth buying. I wanted to buy a new bag but there wasn’t anything for me in Trinoma. Maybe next time!

TGIF ON A SATURDAY

Meng and I went to watch Zombadings: Patayin sa Shokot si Remington earlier in TriNoma. I must say, Zombadings is awesome! Martin Escudero can act, and that kissing scene with Kerbie Zamora is super funny (and kinda hot)!

Sooo after being full from laughter, we exited the cinema and decided to eat dinner at TGI Friday’s, because I have a discount card there! Yay!

The prerequisite of every restaurant I eat in: They must have bottomless drinks!

We had free nachos, thanks to The Bistro Circle vouchers.

Meng had chicken with mushroom.

I had grilled porkchop! I “love” their Rice Pilaf, when I asked the waitress what was the difference between Rice Pilaf and the steamed rice, she said that the Rice Pilaf had green and red bell pepper slices. True enough, there were green and red bell pepper slices, four slices to be exact and I scooped them up and removed them from the rice.
