NAGMAMADALI KA BA?

People are always in a rush.

I’ve noticed in others, and in myself, that most of the time, we get angry when something’s blocking our way. Nothing wrong with that, after all, who would want to have obstacles in their way?

The problem is, whenever I drive, I always see cars weaving in and out of the lanes, swerving to the left, to the right. Kung saan mas mabilis ang galaw, dun sila. Nothing wrong with that too, I mean, I do that especially when I sense that my lane won’t move in the next few minutes.

I always say to myself, kaya ako nagmamadali kasi malalate ako. I always tell myself to leave earlier than my usual time, but no matter what I do, I always leave at the exact same time. Sometimes, I’m early, sometimes I end up late. But I will always be rushing.

I guess the thing I need to instill in myself is to be early, to be prepared with unforseen circumstances along the way. That way, I don’t need to be in a rush.

Ikaw, nagmamadali ka din ba?

TOYOTA’S FORTUNE-R

I’ve always liked the Toyota Fortuner, it looks macho and tough, truly an SUV for the rough road. It’s insides are different, cream colored leather and wood accents are luxurious and looks perfectly at home next to your uniformed chauffeur.

The new 2012 Fortuner takes it up a notch, with a newly designed front fascia. I saw one earlier, and I just had to snap a photo. While the 2011 Fortuner has a bigger grille, the new one looks more menacing, and I think resembled the Land Cruiser’s front.

I just have to talk to my parents about replacing our SUV with this one. It might be smaller than the Alterra, but not by much, and this one looks hella better!

I must say, Hyundai is coming up with the most radical re-designs of their car line-ups. Everything came from understated and well, boring, to futuristic designs.
Take the Hyundai Accent. The last model was supposed to be in my list of possible car purchases, especially since it runs on diesel! But the looks were so boring and it didn’t strike me when I saw it in the showroom so I had to cross it out.
But this new model, the Hyundai Accent 2011 is miles away from the old design! If you’re looking for a car that looks good and runs on diesel (meaning, more power, I think?) this is the perfect car!

OMG this Chevrolet Camaro screams MUSCLE CAR! The aggressive front will intimidate other cars into getting out of the way, for sure!
