EIGHTY TWO OR EIGHT THREE

Had a small celebration at our house for my lola’s birthday, and to bless the newly renovated house.

I arrived quite late, as the priest had already started with the blessing. I rushed to get my camera (because apparently I’m the only one who “could” take photos).

Malnourished lechon.

Food!

The balloons say 83, but the cake’s candle says 82. I got confused! I am not one to remember the age of people so I just had to ask! Hahaha! Turns out the balloons were mistakenly printed.

This kutsinta (or Kuchinta, I just realized I don’t how to spell it) from Bulacan is so good!

Christmas is so near! The cool air blowing in my face every morning is a very clear indication. I just want to roll around in bed all day! Batugan lang, hahaha!

TWENTY TWO AND COUNTING

I haven’t blogged about my birthday yesterday, simply because I had nothing to say.

With lack of anything else to say, I’m just announcing I just became older.

SCOOBY DOO BIRTHDAYS

My cousin celebrated his birthday at the other side of our house (duplex kasi). Too much food!

Seafood platter.

I got to see old family and friends again! It’s been far too long. I love gatherings like this. More please!

CELEBRATING ANGIE

Angie texted me last week if I was free last Saturday for a little celebration for her birthday. Of course, I said yes.

Arrived at her house with Meng at around 4PM. (The time was actually supposed to be 3PM, but you know, Filipinos.)

Birthday Cupcake!

They were really good, they’re from a store in SM North, I can’t remember the name.

Wado finally arrived and we headed to Tomas Morato to eat in Octoboy. Another first! I didn’t know what to expect in the food, but I decided to try and delve into the unknown. It was sooo good! I didn’t even crave for rice!

Hi bb!

Angie brought her external flash, we had a blast experimenting with it by placing it in different positions.

Food! Everything was so good, and so different! Exotic siya for me! I didn’t eat the sushi or Philadelphia Roll, though.

Wado’s snooty look. Ganyan na talaga kapag sikat! Hahahaha!

Then, we went to White Hat for some yogurt.

I love this photo! I’d be going back to White Hat just because of their lights!

Sorry na Wado, minsan lang tayo magkita, nag iipon ako ng photos mo!

Bubble Tea!

I didn’t get to try Bubble tea because I had to go home. Next time! I love meeting with college friends and catching up. We’ve been together for four years, so it’s very different now that I don’t know what’s going on with their lives. More bonding!

ALL ABOARD

A friend, Paolo, celebrated his 22nd birthday last night at Tivoli Gardens in Mandaluyong. Being the OC when it comes to events like this, I planned to leave the house 1 and a half hours early, in case of traffic. But, as all things planned, it didn’t go as well, I arrived 30 mins early and had to lounge around the pool area because I didn’t want to go to the venue yet.

With Geli, Paolo, and Gelai

There was a Photo Booth courtesy of Tinker Booth! Fun!

I wasn’t actually sure of going, because I had no idea how to pull together a nautical look without having to buy, but fortunately, I managed to find a striped shirt, and my denim cover up I got from a thrift shop.

People in stipes.

Sorry na sa backless ni Katie.

Mandaluyong Skyline.

Finally, FOOD!

This drink was delicious! I have no idea what it is though.

Beckies!

There were games, but I lost. Sad, because I wanted the prizes, fresh from NY!

Then people from the 22 Lighthouses came to give their guiding light to the birthday celebrant. Very Debutante lang!

Family photo.

Paolo’s Best friend, Issa.

Ikaw na maganda, Chandra. Hahaha!

Message board.

Palagi na lang Chandra!

Candles! All 22 of them, or so I think. I didn’t count.

Happy Birthday Paolo! Thanks for the invite!
